How we write, source and correct

Sourcing

Any claim about health, skin, hair or the body must trace to a reputable source — peer-reviewed research, medical associations, dermatology bodies, or regulators. Sources are listed at the bottom of each article. If we can't source a claim, we cut it.

Health topics

We are a lifestyle publication, not a clinic. Articles about actives, treatments or anything medical stay conservative by design: "may help" rather than "will fix", and a plain recommendation to see a GP or dermatologist where that's the honest answer. We do not give dosage or prescription advice, ever.

Product recommendations

Products get recommended on merit: how they perform in this heat, what they cost in RM and SGD, and whether you can actually buy them here. Nobody buys a placement in our articles. If that ever changes, the article will say so in plain sight.

How articles are produced

We research with keyword and market data, draft with the help of AI writing tools, and edit everything by hand before it publishes. Photography is AI-generated to our brief and art direction. What we don't outsource to any tool: which topics we cover, which claims survive editing, and what we actually recommend.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix the article and note the change with the updated date. For anything worse than a typo, the note says what was wrong, not just that something was. Spotted an error? Tell us.
